Subject: Model T Minutes - July
2010
Three River's Model
T Club
July 2010
Tonight's meeting was our
annual Picnic in the Park. We had a great turn out of members who came out
on this hot Summer evening. The food was delicious. Thank you Mike
& Linda Porter for picking up the great chicken.
Vice President, Dean Stokes,
opened tonight's meeting. Our President Marlene was camping with her
family and unable to attend.
Dean asked Wanda to read the
previous month's minutes. There was one correction - instead of
Howard Amon Park giving away 200 hotdogs celebrating the 4th of July, 2000 hot
dogs were given instead. The minutes were accepted.
Treasurer Mike Porter gave
his report. We have money in the bank. He also read an invitation to
South Bend, Washington inviting us to their 100th community
celebration. Mike passed around a flyer announcing a old car
auction.

Business
Dean asked Wanda to explain
why the T to Tea tour was cancelled. Wanda
explained that due to complications with Dean's back, the tea will be held later
on this year.
Dean reminded everyone to
bring their passports if they are going to the National Model T
Tour in Whitefish, Montana at Glacier National
Park. This tour is approaching rapidily.
Dale Peterson reminded
everyone attending the "Seat of Your Pants Tour" in
September to the San Juan
islands to get their reservations made at the hotels
now. This is the last week that the Orcas Island hotel will hold the block
of rooms reserved for us.
Wanda will send Stan Fast and
family a "thank you" for their kind hospitality for the delicious breakfast
they hosted for us.
Wanda read a very nice thank
you from Bernice TerMaaten on the passing of her husband Ken last
month.
It was nice to see Bernice at
the picnic.
New
Business
Dean read an e-mail forwarded
to Marlene regarding a speedster run from Gary Ellingson.
It was reported that Paul
Dionne has sold his Model T sedan and purchased a speedster.

Anniversary.
No-one signed up for snacks
for August. If you want to bring a goodie - please contact Marlene
Coder.
With nothing more to come before the
members, the meeting was adjourned.
Respectively Submitted,
